In most countries there won't be any more Unknown soldiers. With DNA comparison they'll be able to identify remains. Small comfort that is though to those who've died. :02:

#30 the tomb is at ground level beneath the Arc de Triomphe. The little chain fence is to remind people and keep them from walking across. When I was there in the early 70's it was not there and a guard had to remind people (read American teen age girls) to stay off of it. In England it is just inside the door of Westminster Abbey and they have the same problem with tourists.

you can't see in the photo but the Australian one is in a beautiful domed room at the Australian War Memorial with paintings of a soldier,sailor,airman and nurse on the walls.
