#1 Not true. Bevely Hills Cop - 1984. Work on GPS technology began in the 1960s.
#6 Not entirely true. Some scenes were shot with very tall stand-ins.
#11 Not even slightly. Given that widescreen has been a part of the film industry since the 19th century....

#3 - the rotating room is an old trick started in silent film. It was used as a stunt in dancing scenes among others.
