I will be damned if I take olive oil to prepare my steak.

Use peanut oil or this palm/coconut greasy stuff (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
Palm_oil)

Dont apply pepper before you grill it... The pepper will burn and taste nasty like...well...burnt pepper.

If you prepare the steak in your kitchen, fry it in the pan for about 2 minutes at beoth sides...Then shove it in the (preheated) oven and bake it for ca. 15 minutes at 200 degree celsius.

If you like sauce, put it on the goddamn thing...don't let people tell you how to enjoy your steak..this would be considered unmanly.

IF you have shittty meat, no steak sauce in the world could compensate that.Throw it away and eat a salad....life ist to short to eat bad quality meat.

And remeber...the thickness of the steak should be 1inch+ thiner pieces aren't called steak...nail it at the bottom of a shoe, there would be the right place for such inferior meat.

and don't forget...non-stick pans are for scrabled eggs....steaks ar best made in forged steel pans with the weight of an average bicicle!
