This is Titan, my best friend. At the age of 14 he has arthritis on his back legs and can't walk very much anymore. He used to stay all night in the office/studio with me, keeping me company no matter what. now he can't walk there anymore and it's too painful to carry him, so i brought the office to him :) He only have less than an year of life ( said the vets)... I'm gonna give him the best year of his life!

I trust the story is true.However, it might be a good idea to have something soft to ease the dog's discomfort, kinda like that blanket you chose to lay on, only thicker.
