living in SoCal (that'd be Southern California if you're not hip) I've noticed that the people who complain the most about 'the scene' are the transplants. True locals are laaaaaaaaid back. If you were born here then it's a part of you and vice versa. But if came here with expectations and a sense of entitlement then your gonna be disappointed. But I suppose that's true no matter where you head to with that mindset....

MathIsHard, nice quote spicoli. i have family down there (irvine, mission viejo, orange co. area) and one thing i've noticed, people down there aren't laid back. more so high strung. doesnt matter if you go from huntington to mission viejo.
