This weird festival takes place every year in northern Spanish Basque village of Lekeitio.
It is called Antzar Eguna (Geese's Day).
The contestants have to jump up from the boat and hold onto the goose for as long as possible while being dunked in the sea.
The geese are dead, don't worry. But in former times they used to be alive.
