Great post. A lot of good ideas.

But #14, painted keys, doesn't work in the dark. Try filing notches - 1 on garage door key, 2 on front door key, and so forth. In the dark all you have to do is run your finger over the key to tell where it goes!

I don't get #87 Why not just use the volume control?

If you like to take long walks in the woods ... always take a small caliber pistol along.
If you're surprised by a bear or mountain lion, just shoot your girlfriend in the knee.
It'll slow her down and you'll be able to escape every time.
