Sorry, but this proves nothing. Some people are naturally lean and muscly, and he likely has that body type. Thus he also quite easily lost the fat that he put on. It's not that easy for everyone. Plus in the side on images he is quite obviously 'inflating' his stomach rather than sucking it in. Well done for losing the fat, but don't for one minute think its that simple for those of us not blessed with a naturally slim and muscly body.

I'm tired of people blaming their genes on being fat. We all know it's hard and not fun putting in the work to lose weight but it sure is fun gaining!! It took him 23 weeks to go from fit 2 fat and 29 weeks to go from Fat 2 Fit. That's an extra month 1/2 just to get to where he was.

@ trob6975 - I always looked as #60 (with asimetric chest also 08 ) and I eat fast food all the time and so on..so yes genes means a lot. If you want to know who you'll be you just have to look at your parents. 04

On a serious note, this guy demonstrates that there's no excuse for being fat - he gained the weight by not exercising and eating excessive calories, then lost it by simply reversing the process. It's just harder to lose the weight than it is to gain it. Hats off to him.

The thing is it's much easier to lose weight if you've been fit before and your muscles are "used" to training. It's also much easier and nicer to excersise then, as well as it is easier to go back to your previous, healthy diet if you've eaten right for your whole life.

Obviously he must have done an awful lot of work for this, but it doesn't really seem to motivating to me (thank God I'm naturally slim, beause I'd never find it in me to cope with that sort of weight). He spent half a year on the gym - probably a few hours EVERY DAY, given that he's a personal trainer. For a normal person that has a job etc it would take much more time and effort, so I don't really buy it.
