I went to school near Camden NJ....scary hell hole!!

so sad... it's like the "forgotten city"

in 2004 i saw a Pixies reunion show at the Tweeter Center (now Susquehanna Bank Center) in Camden, took a wrong turn trying to get back into PA. scariest stuff ive ever seen, never went back to NJ.

also NJ required full service gas stations suck along with your jug handle turns.

I can only imagine what goes on inside some of those houses.

2 minutes away is Collingswood. One of the nicest towns in America.

So, what went wrong then?

Same story all around American cities; white flight, industrial shutdown due to out-sourcing, corrupt politicians, lack of pride and desire to upkeep properties. After so many years the problem is so huge that it's impossible to reverse. All that can be done is keep it contained while it implodes from within.

But look on the bright side: It's really easy to score crack and hookers!

At one point they were good and needed, now they just make rust.
