Doesn't the world actually feel smaller when we are all connected...rather than larger?

Stupid, weak, specious connections, begged conclusions, and hyperbole aren't convincing.
The world existed before the internet, kids. In some ways, it was better before (although you'd be hard-pressed to provide a convincing argument that overall the world was better).

And the fact that there would be "no #occupy"...simply isn't true: there were always whiny, coddled, narcissist rich kids whining that the world "isn't fair" because it doesn't conform to their snowflake and rainbow fantasies. They just didn't have a platform.

We did get by without it, but shut it off now and see the fiasco.
