Ok to say it is better than the F22 Raptor is a little too strong of a statement. However both planes are so advanded that the term better need not be applied. The one advantage the US has is strength in numbers. The russians can barely afford the prototype let alone a denent sized squadron. The US will easily out number the Russians. The only thing is ... just one of the planes can cause more damage without being caught mond you than any plane or squadron in history. MY point is Many need not to be built to be a force... My hat is off to the russkies for this Plane.

I agree with Muerte, Throughout the cold war Russia matched the US plane for plane sometimes creating aircraft the US couldn't match. The SU-27, The MIG-21, these were supreme fighters.
