I'm considering this concept for my next property. I've looked into manufactured homes, but they can still be quite costly.

Instead of paying for things I don't want (like living in the suburbs), I would rather buy my own chunk of land with a more efficient and cost effective home with a large shop/garage.

Three shipping containers makes a triple car garage. Attach a gable roof, you've got your own man cave/casino/strip bar/storage space or some such.
