I'm willing to bet this was an idiot that thought a .45 caliber bullet would fit in a .44 chamber.

Couldn't find any usable info on the source link page ... however, I did a little research
and found a lot of forums that suggest this is the result of a RELOADED round that was a
*double load*, meaning it had two bullets, one shoved deep into the case and another
crimped at the end like normal. Probably a combination of damaged or inferior reloading
equipment and operator error.

This doesn't have to do anything with Chinese ammo. As mentioned above, either wrong caliber or double loading.

@kryptor, i find it hard to believe that *double load* is two bullets in one case, that refers to two loads of gun powder in one case... can happen if an asshole is reloading ammo.

Maybe the problem is with the gun and not the ammo?
