Total Bullshit

These "99" % assholes are trying to make it look as if the government is sending out an army to try their best to get rid of these lazy a-holes. The occupy people want it to look like the government is becoming oppressive over these people's protests. In reality, the police are just doing what everyone else (the real 99%) wants them to do and that is to get their lazy asses off the street and to get the to look for jobs instead of complaining the lack thereof.

If these whiners were the real 99% they would've gotten what they wanted and more.
If they were even 25% they would've been at least listened to.
In reality, these people are less than 1% off the nation and deserved to be treated like how they want the 1% they are complaining about to be treated.

if we all focused on what we had in common instead of what we have that's different, we wouldn't have these problems.

Calling Bullshit is one of the most important things a person can do.

When there's Bullshit to be called.

The infographic lays out a fairly simple and factual timeline. It is currently very difficult to distinguish between riot police and SWAT team members. As a reminder SWAT teams are the militarized arm of most police departments, used when extraordinary situations require extraordinary response. Unarmed citizens exercising their first amendment rights hardly constitutes an extraordinary situation. At least I truly and sincerely hope that is not yet the case.

Your second assertion has not been what I've personally experienced. The only time we were less than appreciated is when we occupied a bridge during rush hour. Even then for every middle finger we seemed to get an equal number of thumbs up (in all honesty the overwhelming majority were apathetic, but that's another discussion).

Your assertion of the movement being more successful if more people were involved is very valid. I am sure your local GA would love to hear you out on that (as well as all your other points).

It's your final assertion that I take issue with. We are the 99%. What does that mean? Well, it refers to the bottom 99 percent of a scale of all wage earners (anyone making money). The movement is catalyzed by the fact that 42 percent of all privately held wealth is distributed amongst only 1 percent of the population. So the underlying goal is to have the top 1 percent treated like you and me, the 99 percent. Or, as you suggest, have the 99 percent treated like the top 1 percent. But that's not very sustainable, so we (the occupation) are asking them (the 1 percent) to play by the rules you and I play by.

Peace and Love Brother
