A Chinese student wanted to buy an Apple iPad for his girlfriend but didn't have enough money for it. So he bought an old notebook for $78 and a new touchscreen display for $50. After 10 days of work the iPad was ready.

there's nothing iPad about this except for the touchscreen (im willing to bet isnt a captivate touch screen) and the huge uneven bezel is black.
save yourself $30 and buy a $100 tablet. it wont run iOS, but neither will this.
