In this case, the manufacturers are not stupid, they are just copying a brand and misspelling the name for copyright reasons. People from developing countries usually do not know exactly how the brand name is spelled or do not care, considering that these knockoffs are a pittance of the original costs.
What I find ironic is that the all big brands have most of their manufacturing plants in China, the same place where these knockoff are also made.
