This is just incredible how these hand made traps with simple tools were so genius end efficient. The first part of the story is telling about tunnels which were used by Viet Cong guerrillas as hiding spots during combat. In two words, these underground tunnels of Củ Chi served as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous guerrilla fighters. And their traps were very efficient. If soldiers who got there didn’t die right away they screamed because the pain was outrageous and when their fellow soldiers tried to help them out of there, the Viet Cong gorillas came out of the tunnels and killed the whole unit of American soldiers.
