Looks like some pics from a previous year mixed with most recent pictures? Yeah Doc. mass stupidity. You would think they might have a better safety system / protection in place to save the public from themselves. I think this happens quite often,,, they should know better by now.

You'd think the levys would've protected the good people of New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina. The US govt. should've designed a better safety system beforehand. Instead, they pounded roofing-grade sheet metal 20 feet into mud to act as a dam. The area was constantly hit by hurricanes for as long as there has been continental mass defined as the United States.
