Hey guys,
I'm French, I saw Matrix in France when it was on theaters, and then bought the DVD, I can assure you that such a funky translation never existed. It was simply "Matrix" as in the U.S.
Even the sequels were exactly the same: Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions

yeah , i live in belgium , in the dutch speaking part we don't translate the titles (maybe kidmovies) , but alot of movietitles are translated in the frenchspeaking part , and sometimes they spoil the movie because of the translation
