the whale was put down the next day cause it washed up again just further north

People saving beached whales do it to make themselves feel better.

There's a reason why the whale 'beached' itself, not because it's navigation system went awry. Whales migrate around the world depending on food and mating seasons.

All the Adderal you may have been exposed to isn't going to save a fish that wants to die. I've kept live fish for 20 years. I had a stingray, after 5 years, just decided to die in perfectly optimal conditions. I can qualify that because the other two in my tank continued to live for years.
