A giant plantation of marijuana was found south of Tijuana in Mexico. It's unbelievable but the plantation contains more marijuana than has even been found in Mexico.

Hey guys, a little tip for you, next time use netting that is sand coloured. Doesn't show up quite so well to spotter planes and satellite imagery.

Black Netting in the desert? Seems legit! 04

The 300-acre plantation is four times larger than the previous record discovery by authorities and workers had even installed toilet facilities, the Defense Department said.

It baffles me how something of that size can actually be "hidden" for so long.

FYI: the black netting isn't to camouflage it, it's to provide shade. Intense sunlight would kill the plants. Note how some aerial photographs don't prevent you from seeing it.

'Sides, methinks someone in the Mexican gov't was paid off.
