This Malibu house looks very modern but it's not the best part about it. The house is made of Boeing 747 parts. It was built by Francie Rehwald who bought an old Boeing 747 back in 2006 for $30,000. And it took her 5 years to complete the task. She calls it Wing House.

Better than sitting in an airplane grave site. It actually looks really cool too, the firepit is a nice touch!

Funny thing is, during the construction the county actually sent out an 'inspector' to make sure the wings "could withstand the wind gusts of up to 70 Mph", due to the local Santa Ana winds that occur in the area.

(uhhhh, they're 747 wings...they typically fly near 500Mph when on an airplane. They SHOULD withstand wimpy Santa Ana winds)

I wonder if the wind could slowy seperate parts od the house. Most houses use gravity to help hold the house together. They have to make sure the house doesn't pull up on the structure. Either way its still pretty cool.
