I'm not sure the "Cash for Clunkers" picture belongs. The program got 690,114 pieces of junk off the road. The old cars got on average 15.8 mpg and their replacements 24.9 mpg, a fuel efficiency improvement of 58% and a comparable reduction in air pollution.

There's already too many people living on this planet. Unfortunatley, most of them are stupid.

But also artificially raised prices of used cars and created 1,035,171 tons of new junk.

"Some" I'd say we have quite a lot. And still too many people ignore it.

Most of the world does NOT look like this. We still have a beautiful planet.

Recycle, reuse,reduce. How much stuff do you really need.

You know one great way to solve this situation? Developed countries could help :)
