Awesome Kitchen Gadgets (14 pics)

The Star wars spatula is pretty cool but the rest just look like a waste of money and kitchen drawer space.

FrankieJ, I wouldn't mind having the lemon juicer for just the right amount of fresh lemon, the tree to boil eggs (probably reduces broken shells) and the knife guide (could be used for a lot of other fine slicing besides eggs for clumsy people like me). When you think about it, aren't most kitchen drawers filled with clutter you rarely use?

A splash of any kind of vinegar you have in your pantry reduces the size of bubbles in boiing water. I've boiled eggs for years using vinegar and have never had a cracked egg shell.

A more useful invention would be something that peels the egg shell without losing any egg meat.

I think these Gadgets are pretty cool
but does someone know what that metal thing is, on the right side of the picture with the onionring-making-tool?

Some looks nice (like the watermelon cutter and the lemon squeezer)

But many are unnecessary because cutting avocados and eggs shouldn't be such big problems.

silver egg/onion thing????

The silver disk in the guy's hand. Most look like a waste of time, space and energy.

About the SILVER DISK: It's just a metallic round. Use it the way you would soap to remove the stinky onion smell from your skin. It doesn't get used up, and it isn't soap. It works!
