These photos were made by a British photographer Charlie Crane who obtained the special permission to take pictures in North Korea. As you can see Charlie was accompanied by a guide, so all the photos look like North Korean propaganda posters.

capt.huffnpuff, they're probably not just for show... but they probably cleaned the places as hard as they could for the photograph and then didn't let the people show up till the photos were taken, so the people couldn't litter (or something like that 17 )

Link.was.here, not to be invented, just to be freed 13

it just looks like in Czechoslovakia 25 yrs ago .o) except fonts and asians of course .D
but clothes and buildings and "decorations" .. and lack of ads and so "real(photoshopped - broomshopped)" images are like the same ...
can imagine how the rest looks like - because know, how the rest looked in CZ, when almost same pictures were made ( of course, have to add a lot of misery and desperation )
yeah it sucks ... but they can have a real dream, that could come true one day .. wonder if they know, they can have a dream and how this dream could look like
btw being in this dream is not so great how imagined .... but still quite good .)

For us "fresh air fiends" the propaganda seems kinda good. I feel dizzy at the moment from car exhaust. Reckons a one month break in North Korea is very healthy.
