have you seen some of the measurements on google maps? in the bottom left hand corner there is a small ruler. lay out a line from one point to another, then click the drop-down menu for units...

The Stobart thing here is the size of an Eddie Stobart truck, not the person in the picture just incase anyone was wondering.
