Auto Ink is a three axis numerically controlled device. When the main switch is triggered, the operator is assigned a religion and it’s corresponding symbol is tattooed onto the person’s arm. The operator does not have control over the assigned symbol. It is assigned either randomly or through divine intervention, depending on your personal beliefs.

It's not really a tattoo machine, it is an art installation.

its supposed to be making comment about religion, whether it is just random, or determined by how and where you were raised, or is it really faith, ect.

its not really a permanent tattoo, just marker. There is no raising or reddening of the skin, plus in order to get the straight lines and shadowing etc in a tattoo you would need to stretch the skin and use other important tattoo techniques

but It is an intriguing way to inspire one to invest how and where there faith is created and based...I like it anyway =)

It was intended to have a deeper meaning about religious preferences. The actual concept of a machine giving random religous beliefs seems more believable than complicated tattoos anyway.
