I love this plane.......the benchmark by which all others are still judged......over thirty five years in service and has never been shot down in air to air combat

Pic # 26...the FF tail lettering means these are from Langley Air Force base
in Virginia...the FF stands for "First Fighter". I was a little boy and living on Langley
when the" first tactical fighter wing" of F-15s became operational. That photo brought back memories. My Dad was a MSgt. and was a flight simulator instructor. He trained the
very first pilots before they flew the planes for real.
