In my opinion the most amazing transformation is that of Christian Bale for the lead role in the Machinist. It's almost painful to watch him almost naked in that movie!

That movie "the machinist" was one trippy movie

another trippy movie is "the broken" very creepy....made me afraid to look in the mirror

It's really not that difficult to gain 20 - 25 pounds of muscle with today's supplements and quality steroids. I weigh about 150 pounds natural and put on 20 pounds of muscle in 2 months using enthanate... without the added motivation of a mutli-million dollar salary. It's much more difficult to starve yourself, imo.

Pro bodybuilders train with very light weights because steroids destroy connective tissue. That's why you hear so many with pec and biceps tears... Ron Coleman, Tom Platz, etc. Pro bodybuilding is 90% pharmaceuticals. Steroids to bulk up and diuretecs to slim down. Mohammed Benaziza died after a Mr. Grand Prix competition in 1996 at the age of 33 because his blood was too thick for his heart to pump.

I'm in agreement with "Link was here", Christian Bale's transformation was amazing; even moreso when you consider that his next role was in Batman Begins. He gained back all his previous weight, plus about thirty pounds.
