All these people are wearing a helmet but you would never notice it if I didn't tell you about it. The airbag is shaped like a hood that surrounds your head. The gas inflater that inflates the airbag is placed in a holder in the collar on the bicyclist's back. The airbag is deployed by sensors – accelerometers and gyros – that pick up a bicyclist's abnormal movements in the event of an accident.

Or you could wear a proper cycle helmet, not look like a hipster douchebag, or worry about cycling around with a ring of explosives around your neck.

just wear a normal helmet ...this is got to be expensive, and doesn't appear to protect any better than a modern safety helmet 10

remember the movie demolition man, the cop car w/the instant expanding foam
it's coming people.

Wonder if GM or Toyota know about this.
I totally agree with TY...you'd get hurt worse if you did wear one. I personally don't know one single guy I grew up with (and is still alive mind you) that wore one.

I remember getting yelled at for wearing my dad's motorcycle helmet while riding my bicycle one time. How ironic is that? 09
