It is very, very sad to know that these kids may never have had a chance to go to school and get an education the way kids do these days...
BUT, what really bothers me is the fact that kids THESE DAYS have no true understanding of a real work ethic, and most these days in their 20's FEAR the kind of jobs that the ones in these pics did back then... even with the improvement in working conditions, kids these days would NEVER do these kinds of jobs...

Many kids got hurt or even worse in factories. Sad part is that this still goes on in many places that refuse to pass child labor laws.

They were building America. What was interesting is the kids setting up the bowling pins. Notice every one of them was looking down the lane to make sure there wasn't a ball coming.

terrible times for labor, hope other countries can learn from our past, but most won't. they will have to experiance it for themselves to see how terrible it is to affect any change.
