As with DocMcCoys comment, I too can remember the press coverage of years ago where virtually every Russian woman showed had a more rustic edge to her. Some were indeed ugly, verging on the hideous.

If memory serves though, we never got to see the girls of this age, only the older ones after the joy of life had been worn out of them. They must have been there, no doubt wrapped in some gross traditional or workman like outfit and never allowed to shine in the same way these beauties do.

I hope, in some small way, that Mr Putin takes up a few offers here. Maybe not a third term, but I'd be interested in what the 'present' is....
