That's what can be found in NYC tap water if you look at it under a microscope. Copepods are a group of small crustaceans found in the sea and nearly every freshwater habitat. They are sometimes found in the public mains water supply, especially systems where the water is not filtered, such as New York City and Boston, Massachusetts.

That's why I filter and boil my drinking water.

Since bisphenol a plastics have been proven to be an endocrine disrupter, affect estrogen levels, even carry synthetic hormones, I also drink from a stainless steel water bottle.
