I totally remember working $3.15 /hour to save up for the PowerGlove & U-Force, which were $80 - over $100 ea. I LOVED them!

@1edson - The Power Glove worked via triangulation - there was a 3 box sensor you placed on your tv (sensors @ top/lef, top/right, and bottom right). The glove itself had 2 emitters on it - You positioned the glove at what you deemed to be "center" and hit the calibration key. Then you programmed in 1 of 14 selections to decide which deviations from center did what. Now mind you, this imitated the NES d-pad (meaning it was compatible with ALL games)... so while it detected off-center across three axes, it only did so as an absolute (digital on/off). For buttons it had a special paint built into the fingers of the glove. The sensors could detect if you flexed your thumb, your index finger, or your other 3 fingers (just 1 detection for all 3 other fingers).
But damn it was awesome!

Mike Tyson's Punch Out - Punch up/left, down/left, up/right, down/right, or pull back to activate Start as the Super Punch. Open your hand and move left/right to dodge.

Rad Racer - you'd pretend your holding the steering and steer left to right. Open your hand and that would let go of Acceleration and turn on Braking. Pretend to shift to shift gears.

1941 - Move your hand up/down/left/right to steer plane. Flex different fingers for firing or that flip move.

(wow, this is the longest post I've ever written!)

ok, in case that wasn't long enough... OMFG! Did you read some of these captions?!?!! You have to read p8 & p9 !!!

p8 "uncle Larry keeps coming over for his special visits while your parents are at work, and he's been paying you in toys to keep you quiet...You're just dying for a brand new Nintendo Entertainment System. You need to tell old Larry that the price just went up, but..You can't just come out and say it; He might make you use the Intimidator again...Later, use your Super Mario Bros. towel to wipe away your tears and clean up any unsavory elements. Trust us, it'll be worth it."

p9 "you feel confident asking Susie over...If you play your cards right, you will be a man before this night is out...Later, use the mat for more creative purposes (like) to keep your mother from finding a wet spot on the couch"

HOLY SHIT!!!

no way, those captions are completely fake, its a shame too because it is a cool find.

but there is no way they would refer to thier own customers as "Nintendo Douche Club" members
