Just went and looked up an article about her.
Said she "didn't realize Coke had enough sugar to make me fat," and that the gastric band surgery was just what she needed to break her Coke (or, more likely, caffeine) addiction.
Uhhh... sorry, gastric bypass surgery doesn't magically cure a substance addiction. That means she could have just as well just stopped drinking it on her own and gone for a walk a few times a week and gotten these results without the surgery.
At any rate this is far from a "weight loss success story."
