I'm sure that so many weapons would be enough to make a revolution in a tiny African country.
Apparently, they belong to Los Zetas, a Mexican-Guatemalan drug cartel and were found by a border patrol near Texan-Mexico border.

okey dokey - So who's to blame? Those are american weapons, and when ever you see the huge stacks of money, they're american dollars. But the drugs are sold, or at least distributed, by mexicans. 51

the "mexican problem", whether it's drugs or immigrants or whatever, is a problem of supply and demand. It is the economics of humanity too fill a vacuum if it is going to be profitable. If there is a demand for cheap disposable labor, then there will be a supply. If there is a demand for drugs (both "legal" and "illegal") then there is going to be a supply (consider the prohibition days (here) in the u.s.). Being that the demand, on both counts, is for illegal goods and services, then it should be of little surprise that the return would be in illegal goods. Like with most multi-faceted problems there can NOT be a single solution. Reducing only supply or only demand can not work because whatever is left unaddressed (either the supply or demand) will intrinsically find (or 'create) it's counterpart. So it would be foolish, ignorant, and most significantly, counterproductive to assign blame (and to take action upon) just one side of the same coin
