WOW! We better find a way to get along people. Look for the good and have some patience for the bad. We all have the same problems, same illness, same fears and as soon as we all finally understand that we are not what flag we raise but the actions we take then, and only then,will wefinally be living for and with each other instead of against. If we can learn how to co-exist we can then start to work on solving the real problems we all share such as disease (mental and physical) hunger, long term energy solutions. Imagine what WE can do.

What I see are some cute kids in uniforms. The fact that anyone is inspired to make venomous statements upon seeing them shows how willing people are to hate Jews. Honestly, do you think if Jews saw pictures of 18 year old girls from Afghanistan or Pakistan dressed in uniforms they would be writing back "die die baby killers"... No. They would probably be thinking 'poor kids - how did they get used in such a horrible conflict?'
When people write with so much hatred it shows me that Israelis are right to be afraid of their neighbors because they are like many of those who responded on this blog. I grew up in the Uk and believe me we had conflicts in Northern Ireland but I've never heard even an Irish Catholic see a kid in a British uniform go "they are monsters and should die." I am more convinced than ever that pro-Islamists have no heart whatsoever. Sorry. This seems to be a fact. They are happy to kill their own just so they can kill others. And they don't just want a homeland, they want the Jews out of the middle east entirely. Does anyone here even know history?
Israel was small. They were happy in their tiny territory and got attacked by 4 of the neighbors on the day they declared independence. I am a history major with a protestant background - mostly I'm an atheist. I have no special love of Israel or a special need to defend Jews. I met a few - some were nice and some were distant ...but what I hear here is just old fashioned anti-semitism in new clothing. look in the mirror people and just admit it: you basically hate Jews and you have no reason for it so now you get to hate them by pretending to love palestinians and hating Israel.
