sad so very very sad

so sad ....I wish I found 1 of these ...

All of these cars, if restored are valued in millions of $$$$.

Two Superbirds, personal fave, and lots of Jaguars, all rather sad.

A few oddities, like the Fiat Twin-cam, but the line of stacked Karmann Ghias really finished it off.

This post is full of things that make me cry :(

I hardly consider a Karman Ghia or a Volvo or a Ford Mustang II a super car. But many of the others are a sad sight to see.

show me a world where all the cars are restored and maintained and I will show you a very boring place where only the elite can own desirable old cars. Restoring forsaken gems is the only way working-class folk like me can own the cars we love.

Sad, but costs of restoring a vehicle are so high that only a few of these would be worth it.

forget the rest of the cars i want the superbird, the dodge daytona and the corvet stingray that car is rare

I saw an Alfa Romeo Montreal, 2 300SL Gullwings, plenty of Jags, a TVR Cerbera SPEED 12 (so frikin rare! so frikin fast! so stupid of someone to dump it ), plenty of Vettes, an Espada, lots of Ferraris, and I think the top is a Lola! Sad sad sad sad sad ! Fu** someone save these beautiful cars, please! Keep Obama away from them at all costs!

the gullwing mercedes looks like it will be restored, but damn, its incredible the condition some of those gems are in...
if I had money to burn and time , putting one of those together again would be something to look back on , and a lot of fun to drive .
I would be that grumpy old grandpa that would only let the grankids admire it from afar...hehehehehe..
