Wouldn't 8x8 mean it has 8 wheels? :51:

It's neither a BTR or a BMD. It's a BRDM, a Russian Reconnaissance vehicle. Although it looks like a 4x4, there are 4 additional wheels under the chassis, which can be lowered to improve off road performance and provide better ground pressure

Louie-Louie,
I hate to piss on your parade, but that isnt a BMD, but a BTR. Google it!

Know your hardware, Louie-Louie!

rennermartins,
I believe those 'middle' wheels come down for when youre driving on a road.

So, first of all - it's a BTR, not a BMD. Secondly, it's been stripped of the 4 middle wheels, as they are not necessary and if you look closely, you'll notice, it's pretty old. The screens with the thick bezels, the radio, the overall look - it seems it's been overhauled as a luxury thing like at least 10 years ago.

Look at pic 16, geniuses... Oh snap! Looks like 2 more wheels extend from the bottom on each side. Let's do the math on that real quick. 2 wheels in the front plus 2 wheels in the back plus 2 wheels on the left side plus 2 wheels on the right side. That's 2+2+2+2. Do you need to grab a calculator or should I just tell you the sum (that means total) equals 8? I swear you people get dumber every day. The icing on the cake is that you dipshits posted comments like the publisher is the dumb asshole. Morons.
