PAL-V (Personal Air and Land Vehicle) was created by a Netherlands company. It's sort of a private helicopter that can travel at a speed of 112 mph (180 km/h) and at a height of 3,400 ft (1,200 m) for over 310 miles (500 km).

Looks like I was wrong when I said a few days ago that that was the last we'll hear of this thing. THIS is the last we'll hear of it. Just like EVERY other flying car hybrid concept ever conceived.

it's not a helicopter it's an autogyro, the main rotor is unpowered and acts as wings in conventional planes

I wish there was more info on the drive mechanism.
How does it send power to the wheels?
I don't see drive shafts or chains.
Is it hydrostatic? Gas/electric (hybrid)?

olborer...i see no forward propulsion, how can it be an auto gyro?...It sure is an amazing vehicle though.
