Be careful when you jump a car with another car. And never ever connect it wrong way. Always hook positive to positive, and negative to negative. Because when you connect it otherwise you create a short circuit and it can destroy both cars. This is exactly what happened to the cars in these pictures.

Yeah, and dont run away, pull one connection to break the short circuit to avoid burning both cars.

Panic is a fabulous thing, and gives an awesome outcome.

I've only shorted a jumpstart once, and the resultant bang blew one end of the jump leads right off. Left me with quite a shake for an hour or two as well....

Not true!!! it just sparks and not work. They probably had gasoline leaking for it to burn like that. A bunch of wusses though to allow it to get to that stage. 13
