Why can't we buy those fuel-efficient, well-designed, easy-to-park European cars here in the U.S.?

Oh, just wait, After Obama Motor Corporation (Formerly known as General Motors Corporation) starts making their new lineup this size car is all you'll be able to buy.

They are ugly and slow on the highways, but if you're driving in London and want to find a parking space they are golden. Just back up in between two cars and you're good to go. U only need about 5' of space to get these babies parked...

Micro cars, like SUVs and trucks have good points too - if they are well designed. I have a 1958 Berkeley Sports that could go 65 MPH and return a mileage figure of 60 MPG. Had the company that made it been more willing to work on making it better and better every year, it could have beaten out the Bug-eyed Austin, and even become a real success as a gas-sipper - a car that could be what we all need in this age of high gas prices. Check out my book on Mini and Micro Cars, Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.
