The gharial (Gavialis gangeticus) is a crocodilian of the family Gavialidae that is native to the Indian subcontinent and also called gavial and fish-eating crocodile. Unlike most crocodilians, the gharial is not a man-eater and tends to be very sensitive when intimidated by humans. Despite its immense size, its thin and fragile jaws render it physically incapable of consuming a large animal, especially a human being.
It happened on October, 18, 2012. A guy named Chad was driving a road on St. James Island in South Carolina. It was the night before his wedding. He lost control of the car, it flipped several times and landed upside down. Chad managed to get out the car that began filling with water. He walked back to the street, and then walked 1.5 mi (2.4 km) to his house. All the way home his was thinking about his bride Holly. When he got home, Chad felt severe pain in his back and called his mother. She took him to a hospital. The doctor told Chad that he had fractured his L1 vertebrae and there is no way he is getting married tomorrow. Chad thought about it for a second and replied, "I'm sorry, that's not an option. I'm getting married tomorrow."
