He looks like a cross between a battered children's toy and a pink potato. Meet Spud, the spineless hedgehog. Staff at Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in Buckinghamshire, who have been caring for him since August, are baffled by his condition.

This is submarine “Typhoon” as it was called in NATO documents or “Shark” as it was called in Russia. It is considered to be the biggest submarine in the world, with over than 170 meters (515 feet) long and 23 meter (70 feet) wide. It can carry 20 ballistic nuclear missiles and there were only six of those built. Only 3 left intact, but are staying now out of service with armament control blocks detached according to the agreement between USSR and USA signed by M. Gorbachev. Without those they are way too peaceful.

In fact, this is not even the paint but a special wrapper.
Normally, I don’t like this kind of car tuning, but I must admit, it looks quite impressive.

This gothic structure was the home of the Tennessee State Prison from 1898 to 1992. As years passed, overcrowding, prison break attempts, and riots gave the penitentiary a somewhat notorious reputation. The years took its toll on the structure as well, until it was ultimately decommissioned and a new facility was opened that could handle a larger population of inmates. Not everyone has left though, since there are reports of a various paranormal phenomena reported at the facility. Cell doors are said to open and slam, disembodied voices are heard, and apparitions have been sighted...

SAN FRANCISCO MAN BECOMES FIRST AMERICAN TO GRASP SIGNIFICANCE OF IRONY - Jay Fullmer, 38, yesterday became the first American to get to grips with the concept of irony. “It was weird” Fullmer said. “I was in London and like, talking to this guy and it was raining and he pulled a face and said, “great weather, eh?” and I thought “wait a minute, no way is it great weather”. Fullmer then realised that the other man’s ‘mistake’ was in fact deliberate.

The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry mid term. The answer was so “profound” that the professor shared it with colleagues.

Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle’s Law, (gas cools off when it expands and heats up when it is compressed) or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following:

Just imagine sitting in traffic on your way to work and hearing this.

Many Sydney folks DID hear this on the FOX FM morning show in Sydney.
The DJs play a game where they award winners great prizes. The game is Called “Mate Match”. The DJs call someone at work and ask if they are married or seriously involved with someone. If the contestant answers “yes”, he or she is then asked 3 random yet highly personal questions.
The person is also asked to divulge the name of their partner (with phone number) for verification. If their partner answers those same three questions correctly, they both win the prize.
